San Antonio, TX: 2004 Rule Changes: 70' bases are now optional in the Men's program; Exception A World. Flip flop rule approved for all programs. Offensive ejection adopted as the Men's Class E program home run penalty. Batter-base runner are now out for carrying the bat to or beyond first base after hitting a fair ball and while the ball is stuill live; or for going into dead ball area. 40' pitching distance and 60' bae path adoted for girls 10-Under program. Only 12" balls with a COR of .44 or lower or a .375 lbs. or lower compression may be used in the Mixed program. Mixed run rule no longer applies to local programs; only NIT's, National and World Tournaments.

Player may not drop more than one class from previous season. releaes date changed to August 20th (except Mixed program).
